Curious about the writing process? Want me to visit your school or library and talk everyone’s ears off? Do you want to know if I think Superman or Peppermint Patty would win in a fight?

Please note: I’m always happy to hear from readers but I may take a little time in replying. I’m bad that way.

  1. Hi Steven,
It`s Marcus from your vanguard prime launch in Eltham. I have been meaning to give you a book review on vanguard prime wild card. I loved wild card even more than goldrush. My favorite character was the knight of wands. The book hooked me in straight away I read it in two days and it had a cliffhanger at the end of every chapter. I can`t wait to see the movies. I don`t know if remember that I was in chitty chitty bang bang but if you do make a movie or a tv series I would love to star as goldrush.

    1. Hi Marcus,

Thanks so much for taking the time to send me your review of ‘Wild Card’! I really appreciate it, and I’m so glad you enjoyed the book. I hope you don’t mind if I quote your review on my ‘Books’ page!

I wish I could say ‘Vanguard Prime’ movies were on their way, but if they ever happen they won’t be for many, many years.

But on a more positive note, the third book in the series (‘Vanguard Prime: War Zone’) will be released at the end of August. I have to say, it’s my favourite of the books I’ve written so far. Hope you like it, too!

      All the best,

      Steven Lochran

    1. Hi, Marcus. Thanks for getting in touch! Unfortunately there are currently no plans to release another book in the series, but with some luck that may change in the future.

Make sure to check out the website for updates, and if you haven’t had the chance yet I recommend downloading ‘Red Alert’, the free ebook that features an all-new adventure for the team.

    1. The new characters were my favourite part, too. I had a lot of fun making them up. Shame you didn’t feel it was the best one yet, though I understand why you’d feel that way. ‘Red Alert’ was meant as a fun adventure that introduced new readers to the VP team, though I also wanted fans of the series to get something out of it too.

Out of curiosity, which of the books was your favourite?
